Please note that as always, the times are subject to change. The patch has many many changes, but we’ll give you a summary of the major changes. If you would like to see the complete list of changes, see here.

Main Story Quests

The biggest change for Final Fantasy XIV Patch 6.1 will be the addition of new main scenario quests.

To be able to accept this quest line you need to have completed the ‘Endwalker’ quest. To start the quest, talk to Tataru at The Rising Stones (x6.0, y5.9).

Alliance Raids

The new Alliance Raid called ‘Myths of the Realm’ will also be released on this patch. To be able to access this you need to have completed up to a certain point in the 6.1 Main Story Quest. The specific point has not been revealed by Square yet, likely to prevent spoilers. However, once you get to that point, it will unlock a quest at Old Sharlayan (x9.1, y11.5) from the NPC ‘Fresh-faced Student’.

Role Quests

New role quests have also been added, to accept them you will need to have completed the Endwalker Role Quests for your role. You can find the quests at the corresponding NPCs at Radz-at-Han (x7.7,y9.4).

Housing

New plots of land can be purchased at the Empyreum (Ishgard). All plots in the Oceania Data Center will also now be available for purchase. All plots will be with the lottery system rather than the old system.

PVP

It is a new PVP season. ‘The Feast’ duties have been removed and the new Crystalline Conflict PVP match has been added.

To access the Crystalline Conflict you will need to have completed the quest “A Pup No longer” from your Grand Company. Once you have done that, head over to Wolves’ Den Pier (x4.9, y6.4) and speak with Gungi Zelungi to start the “The Crystal (Line’s) Call” quest.

Change Post

Perhaps the most important change in the patch is that you can now Change Pose (/cpose) while using Fashion Accessories!
